Activate it - Giveaway of the Day site is generating a 'Failed to connect, Please try again later' error

Every time I try and run the setup program using Winzip I get the "Failed to connect, Please try again later" error. I've researched the error through Google and got sixty hits. A lot of them related to Giveaway of the day. They all seemed to be requests for how to solve the problem. No answers/solutions were given. My impression is that it relates to the geographical location of the server/person doing the download. Seems if you're in the USA trying to access a game in Europe you might have a problem and get this error. Quite a few gamers posted this problem. I would much appreciate it if you could fix this problem or suggest a solution. I do not think it is a security/firewall problem as I have turned off my anti-virus/security programs and still have a problem. Other people who complain of these problem have also turned off their security to no avail.
